November 21, 2017 Bauman, Upton lead conference fall academic honors Taylor Bauman, a junior, and Kristen Upton, a senior, were named the Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in their respective sports. Bauman and Upton were two of 30 Green Terror spring student-athletes named to the CC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

November 11, 2017 McDonald makes 10 saves Sarah McDonald finished the game with 10 saves for the Green Terror. Lynchburg broke through for the game’s lone goal midway through the first overtime, defeating McDaniel 1-0 in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

November 9, 2017 Upton earns academic honor Kristen Upton, a senior, was named to the Academic All-District II Division III women’s soccer first team presented by CoSIDA.

November 9, 2017 Four earn All-CC women’s soccer honors Four members of the McDaniel women’s soccer team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference team. Kristen Upton was named to the first team while Katie Kirschenmann and Abby Keen earned second-team honors. Marissa Funke was tabbed honorable mention.

November 6, 2017 McDaniel earns NCAA bid McDaniel learned its season will continue with an at-large bid into the NCAA Division III women’s soccer field. The Green Terror will travel to Virginia Beach, Va., for the opening round of the tournament. McDaniel will take on Lynchburg in the one first-round game on Saturday.

November 4, 2017 McDonald makes eight saves in semifinals Sarah McDonald returned to the net and made eight saves for the Green Terror. McDaniel and Johns Hopkins each scored a goal in the second half of the Centennial Conference semifinal. The game is officially recorded as a tie but the 10th-ranked and top-seeded Blue Jays advanced to the championship game 4-3 during the shootout.
