FAIRFAX, Va. – Jasmine McCormick (Antioch, Calif./Holy Name) finished ninth in the 60-meter hurdles to lead McDaniel at the Patriot Games hosted by George Mason in women's indoor track and field action on Saturday.
McCormick turned in a time of 9.98 seconds to lead the Green Terror, who had a pair of Centennial Conference qualifiers in the event. Claire Lawson (McMinnville, Ore./McMinnville) added a 15th-place finish with a qualifying-time of 10.79 seconds.
Chloe Allen-Gorman (Portland, Ore./Lincoln) and Becky Kaler (Jefferson, Md./Brunswick) turned in a pair of top-10 performances in the 1,000. Allen-Gorman finished 15th with a time of 3:13.11, which ranks fifth on the all-time performance list, while Kaler finished 17th in a time of 3:16.99, which ranks eighth. Kaler's time was an indoor best and ranks fifth on the all-time performer list.
Kaler, Lawson, McCormick and Allen-Gorman combined to finished fourth in the distance medley relay with a time of 13:29.21, which ranks eighth all-time in program history.
McDaniel returns to action at the Crusader Classic hosted by Susquehanna on Saturday.
