Adebayo resets hurdle record

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Yusrah Adebayo (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch) reset her own program record in the 60 hurdles to lead McDaniel at the Sweetheart Multimix hosted by Navy in women's indoor track and field action on Thursday.

Record Setter: The following athletes established a new program record at the meet:

Standard Bearer: The following athletes hit Centennial Conference-qualifying marks at the meet:

  • Yusrah Adebayo: 60 hurdles, finishing fourth in a time of 9.47 seconds.
  • Shantae Byro (Baltimore, Md./Northwestern): 60, finishing 17th in a time of 8.47 seconds; 400, finishing 23rd in a time of 1:06.50.
  • Arielle Latourette (Easton, Pa./Easton Area): 60, finishing 25th in a time of 8.62 seconds; long jump, finishing seventh with a jump of 4.85 meters.
  • Sydney Gonsalves (Hagerstown, Md./Barbara Ingram School for the Arts): 60, finishing 26th in a time of 8.65 seconds.
  • Kelly Gibson (Yardley, Pa./Pennington [N.J.]): high jump, finishing 10th a jump of 1.40 meters.
