Adebayo wins hurdles

LANCASTER, Pa. – Yusrah Adebayo (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch) won the 60 hurdles to lead McDaniel at the Coach I Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall in the women's indoor track and field season opener on Saturday.

Head of the Class: The following athletes won an event at the meet:

  • Yusrah Adebayo won the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.56 seconds. She ran a time of 9.51 seconds in the prelims to qualify with the best time in the field. 

Standard Bearer: The following athletes hit Centennial Conference-qualifying marks at the meet:

  • Yusrah Adebayo: 60 hurdles, finishing first with a time of 9.56 seconds; 60, finishing 12th with a time of 8.46 seconds.
