BALTIMORE, Md. – Shantae Byro (Baltimore, Md./Northwestern) finished sixth in the heptathlon to lead McDaniel at the 2018 ECAC Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship hosted by Johns Hopkins on Wednesday and Thursday.
Scoring:
- The Green Terror finished tied for 26th with three points. Johns Hopkins won the team title with 135.5 points.
Making a Point: The following athletes earned points at the meet:
- Shantae Byro: heptathlon, finishing sixth with 3499 points.
Multi-Talented: The following athlete competed in the heptathlon:
- Shantae Byro finished fifth in the 200 (27.33 seconds) and 800 (2:43.56) to lead the way in her sixth-place overall finish. Those were also the events with her top point total, earning 685 points in the 200 and 533 in the 800.
Top 10 Worthy: The following athletes achieved a mark that ranks in the program's all-time top 10:
- Shantae Byro now ranks third all-time in the heptathlon with 3499 points.
