FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - Mary Washington won the first set 25-8 en route to a 3-0 win over McDaniel in season-opening, non-conference volleyball action on Friday.

Melissa Weldon (Broomall, Pa./Country Day School of the Sacred Heart) led the Green Terror (0-1) with seven digs.

Kayla Crawford recorded 10 kills to lead the Eagles (1-0), who earned the sweep with wins of 25-11 and 25-12 in the final two sets.

Olivia Kunc (Chesterbrook, Pa./Conestoga) added six digs while Colette Kellen (Derwood, Md./Covenant Life School) had five digs and four assists in their debuts.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Keystone and Penn State-Abington on Saturday. The tri-match begins at 12 p.m.
