BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Bryn Mawr won a close third set to a key a 3-1 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball action on Saturday.
Annie McShea (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) led the Green Terror (4-9, 0-3 CC) with a double-double, recording 14 kills to go with 10 digs.
Rachel Ofili led the Owls (5-8, 1-1 CC) with 16 kills and 10 digs.
Bryn Mawr took the match's first set 25-18 before McDaniel responded with a 25-15 victory in set No. 2. The Owls recorded a 25-23 win in the third set before capping the match with by a 25-12 tally.
Kloe Martin (Littleton, Colo./Heritage) added nine kills to the attack while Colette Kellen (Derwood, Md./Covenant Life) contributed 26 assists.
Martin and Olivia Kunc (Chesterbrook, Pa./Conestoga) added eight digs each.
The Green Terror returns to action at home against Marymount on Wednesday. Match time is 7 p.m.
