LANCASTER, Pa. – Kevin Keane (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman), a junior on the McDaniel men's golf team, was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Scholar-Athlete of the Year in his sport.

Keane was one of 38 Green Terror spring student-athletes named to the CC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Keane, a business administration major, posted a 3.895 cumulative grade-point average through the end of the fall semester. That was the highest GPA among juniors and seniors on the all-conference team.

Keane was a first-team all-conference nod after placing third at the CC Championship in April. He posted a 76.1 stroke average over 22 rounds, including four top-five finishes in 11 events.

Men's lacrosse junior Jakob Katzen (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends), softball sophomore Michaela Persinger (Emmitsburg, Md./Catoctin), men's outdoor track and field senior Gavin Gibson (Newark, Del./Sanford) and men's outdoor track and field junior Patrick Smith (Frederick, Md./Gov.
