WESTMINSTER, Md. – Washington (Md.) jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first four innings en route to a 13-4 Centennial Conference (CC) baseball victory over McDaniel on Tuesday.

An error and two-out triple from Marinelli pushed the lead to 5-0 in the fourth.

A error, sacrifice bunt, walk and passed ball proceeded a two-out Baquer double to the gap that pushed the lead to 7-1 in the top of the sixth.

Doubles from Charlie Meder and Garrett Richardello made it an 8-1 game with two outs in the seventh.

Run-producing doubles from Brian Alexa and Michael Acampora keyed a five-hit, four-run eighth inning that pushed the lead to 12-3.

A Baquer RBI double in the ninth stretched the advantage to 14-3 before the Green Terror scratched out a run with pinch-hitters in the bottom of the inning.

Jonathan McKinney (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) drew a walk to lead off the inning before Donald Gilbert (Severn, Md./Glen Burnie) drew a two-out walk.
