CARLISLE, Pa. – McDaniel scored four runs in the top of the sixth to overcome a 3-1 deficit en route to a 6-3 victory over Dickinson in Centennial Conference (CC) baseball action on Wednesday.

Nick Valori (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) led the Green Terror (12-14, 6-5 CC) with three hits, including an eighth-inning home run, and drove in four runs.

Hank Sanders led the Red Devils (18-8, 4-6 CC) with two hits and two RBIs.

Trailing 3-1, Jonathan McKinney (Jonestown, Pa./Northen Lebanon) was hit by a pitch to lead off the top of the sixth.

Marty Windisch (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) and Marshall Betts (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) each followed with singles to load the bases before Valori cracked a two-run double to tie the game.

After a pair of strikeouts, Joe Fiore (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Beach) roped a base knock to the gap to plate Betts and Valori for a 5-3 lead.

Valori led off the eighth with a solo shot to left for a three-run lead.

Dickinson jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third.

Steven Haynes and Joseph Tursi put together back-to-back singles with one out before Sanders drove in both with a base knock of his own.

A Betts double and Valori RBI single cut the deficit in half in the top of the fourth before a Mike Adams and Benn Parker single pushed the lead back to two in the bottom half of the frame.

Betts and Fiore each had two hits.

Jack Dowd (Friendship, Md./Bishop McNamara) pitched into the eighth inning with four strikeouts to improve to 2-1 while Andrew Monger (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) earned his first save with two strikeouts in two innings of relief.
