Max Grullon led Swarthmore with seven hits on the day to go with four RBIs.
Tied at 7-all in game one, AJ Liu led off the bottom of the sixth with a single up the middle before taking second on a balk.
A one-out Wesley Fishburn single put runners at the corners before a stolen base and wild pitch gave the hosts an 8-7 lead.
A walk and sacrifice fly stretched the lead to 9-0 before a Grullon single and Matt Palmer two-run double stretched the lead to 11-7.
A Keegan Romanoff (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) two-out walk and Rosanova home run on the next pitch cut the deficit in half in the seventh.
However, a pair of walks and a Fishburn three-run jack pushed the lead to 14-9 in the home half of the inning.
Kasey Nelson (St. Pete Beach, Fla./St. Michael's [Md.]) led off the eighth with a home run before Romanoff drew a leadoff walk in the ninth.
A single, fielder's choice and wild pitch made it a 14-11 game with two outs.
Nelson doubled home Nick Valori (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) to bring the tying run to the plate but Charles Groppe got a strikeout to end it.
A Rosanova single, Nelson two-out RBI single and Eric Grantland (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) two-run home run staked McDaniel to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first.
The Garnet, however, scored five times over its next two at bats that included four unearned runs for a 5-3 lead.
The teams traded runs in the third before Swarthmore tacked on one more in the fifth.
Tyler O'Shea (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) led off the sixth with a double before Rosanova drew a one-out walk. A sacrifice fly and Valori two-run home run tied the game.
In the nightcap, the Garnet trailed 7-3 heading to the bottom of the seventh before scoring seven times.

The Garnet jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first before singles by Grantland and Tim Griest (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) and an O'Shea double made it a 2-1 game with one out. Rosanova drove in a pair of runs with a single down the line for a 3-2 edge.
Doubles from Strauss and Nelson keyed a three-run fourth that pushed the lead to 6-2.
Singles by Rosanova and Grantland made it 7-2 in the sixth before an Elliott two-out solo home run in the bottom of the frame.
In addition to Rosanova's four hits in game two, Nelson, Grantland and Griest all had two hits.
