Two earn All-CC baseball honors

LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the McDaniel baseball team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Wednesday.

Nick Valori (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) was named to the first team while Tyler O'Shea (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) was tabbed honorable mention.

Valori, a graduate student outfielder, is making his first all-conference appearance. Starting all 35 games, he hit a conference-best .419 on the year. He rapped out 57 hits to become the program's all-time career hits leader, finishing his career with 216 knocks. Among his 57 hits were 11 doubles, two triples and five home runs for a .640 slugging percentage. He drove in 26 runs and scored 32 times. He also stole seven bases.

O'Shea, a senior second baseman, is making his first all-conference appearance. He started 33 of his 34 appearances this season, hitting .279 on the year. He had seven doubles and a triple among his 31 base hits. He drove in 17 runs and walked 14 times.

The Green Terror finished the season with an overall record of 13-22 (5-13 CC).
