Swarthmore scored twice in the first 2:36 of the game to key a 4-1 win over McDaniel.

THE LEADERS
Madison Jamison (Davidsonville, Md./South River) led the Green Terror with a goal.
• Paige Ford (Edgewater, Md./South River) made eight saves.

FOR THE FOES
• Samie Martin led the Garnet with two goals and an assist.
• Marion Carr added two assists.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Marion Carr sent a ball in from the top-left side of the circle that Samie Martin was able to tap in from the back post for a 1-0 lead just 45 seconds into the game.
• Grace Twitchell tapped home a Carr send from the top to double the lead fewer than two minutes later.
• Andie Tappenden finished a Martin pass just 1:17 into the second quarter before Martin returned the favor 3:38 into the second half.
• Madison Jamison dribbled in and fired from the top of the circle to break up the shutout at the 39:14 mark.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Swarthmore finished with a 13-4 advantage in shots and 7-2 advantage in corners.
