Prior to taking over the Cedar Crest program, she was an assistant at Dickinson for two seasons. While on the Red Devil staff, she was integral in helping the program to 12 wins and a Centennial Conference (CC) playoff berth in her first year.

She also spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Keystone, where she was a captain and All-CSAC selection in 2008 and 2009.

Serving as an instructor at numerous camps around the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, she is the Founder and Director of the Lehigh Valley Sparx Field Hockey Club. The Sparx is a developmental club that serves student-athletes in the Lehigh Valley in Bethlehem, Pa. She holds Level I and II Coaching certification with USAFH.

Yarrish graduated from Keystone with a bachelor of science in elementary education with a minor in psychology in 2013. She also earned in masters of education from Cedar Crest in 2017.
