Dallmus makes 13 saves

CARLISLE, Pa. – No. 8 Dickinson scored eight straight goals to overcome an early 1-0 deficit and key a 10-3 Centennial Conference (CC) men's lacrosse victory over McDaniel on Wednesday.

Michael Woglom (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) staked the Green Terror (4-5, 0-2 CC) to the advantage midway through the first period and one of four different players to register a point for the visitors.

Brian Cannon paced the Red Devils (7-1, 1-0 CC) with three goals.

After Woglom finished his solo run with 7:21 to play in the opening quarter, Matt Cherry knotted the game with an unassisted marker of his own 1:08 later and Cannon tallied with 17 seconds remaining in the stanza for a 2-1 lead.

Draper Donley started a 4-0 second quarter with an unassisted goal at the 10:44 mark.

Tyler White stretched the lead to 4-1 with 5:41 showing before Nick Leon and White stretched the advantage to 6-1 with 2:30 to play, scoring nine seconds apart.

Cannon and Will Scott capped the 8-0 run, scoring 26 seconds apart to make it an 8-1 game with 9:13 to play in the third.

Skippy Clary (Baltimore, Md./Catonsville) snapped the 31-minute, 11-second scoring drought with 6:10 to play in the third quarter.

Ben Yancheski (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) found DJ Rickels (Forest Hill, Md./Boys Latin School of Maryland) just 1:26 into the third quarter to close the deficit to 8-3 but Cannon and Richard Craft each hit the back of the net to push the lead back to seven, setting the final margin with 7:35 to play.

Christian Dallmus (Acton, Mass./Rivers School) finished with 13 saves for McDaniel. Nick Sicuranza (Seven Valleys, Pa./Dallastown) added three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

The Green Terror returns to action at home against Haverford on Saturday. Game time is 6 p.m.
