GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Gettysburg won six events to key a 107-70 Centennial Conference (CC) men's swimming victory over McDaniel on Wednesday.

Bryan Nuckles (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) was part of two of the three program records established by the Green Terror (0-3, 0-1 CC) in the meet. Nuckles downed Rob Newman's nearly 22-year-old record in the 100 freestyle, touching in a time of 47.47 seconds to win the event. Newman swam a time of 47.49 in the 1991 MAC Championship.

Brooks also touched first in the 400 IM for the other record performance of the meet with a time of 4:09.25, which is two seconds shy of the NCAA B-Cut time and three seconds off the CC record.

Will Nelligan and Adam Weinbrom each had two-win nights for the Bullets (4-0, 2-0 CC), including combining with Kevin Hartnett and Jaime Ianiro to win the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:48.39. Nelligan also won the 100 breaststroke (1:04.80) while Weinbrom took the 100 backstroke (54.59).

Nuckles rounded out a three-win night in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:47.06, which ranks fifth all-time in program history.

In addition to Brooks' win in the 400 IM, Hoyt added another top-10 time in the same race, finishing third with a time of 4:30.47 to better his ninth-place rank.

Hoyt was also second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.39 seconds while Rogers was second in the 500 free with a time of 5:07.98.

Brooks was fifth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 48.75 but still moved into fourth place on the program's all-time list.
