THE SKINNY STORY
McDaniel opened the season with five conference-qualifying marks at the Navy Spring Invitational.

THE LEADERS
• Rachel Dixon (Crofton, Md./Arundel) hit two Centennial Conference (CC) qualifiers, finishing 21st in the 100 with a time of 13.82 seconds. She was also 12th in the long jump (4.50 meters).
Jade Wells-White (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh) also hit the conference qualifier in the 100, debuting with a time of 13.65 seconds to finish 20th.
Julia Murphy (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) finished 17th in the 800 with a CC-qualifying mark of 2:31.99.
Ashley Deal (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) qualified in the shot put, finishing 14th with a throw of 9.67 meters.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Mackenzie Meyer was 14th in the 200 (31.36).
• Riley O'Hara was 22nd in the 400 (1:08.65).
Maria Kropkowski was 21st in the 800 (2:47.27).
Jill Shephard finished 23rd in the 800 (3:00.88).
Ashley Deal was also 14th in the discus (24.21 meters).
Catina Mable finished 16th in the shot put (6.56 meters) and 15th in the discus (16.32 meters).
